Victor is the Founder and CEO of LatAm Alternatives and several other industry firms and has more than 19 years of experience in management, sales, marketing and business development within the securities industry throughout the US and LatAm region. Prior to founding LAS AMERICAS MEDIA, Victor was Partner and Head of Latin American Prime Brokerage for Merlin Securities (Prime Broker) and Director of Global Institutional Sales at Trade Station Securities, subsequently acquired by Monex Group. He also served as Director of Latin America for Terra Nova Trading (now LightSpeed Trading),and in the late 90s he was the Founder, President & CEO of Pristine.com Latin America, a leading trading education provider. Victor started his career at The Caracas Stock Exchange and rose to be the youngest President & CEO of a Broker Dealer on the Exchange. He has been a live TV Economics News Anchor and is well known as the Founder and Former Head of The Hedge Fund Association (HFA) LatAm Chapter, and is a former STA (Security Traders Association) National Board LatAm Advisor and Member of The Board of Advisors at Emerging Markets Virtual Exchange (EMVx).
A frequent speaker, panelist and featured presenter at professional events, Victor has been interviewed by many of the world’s leading publications and television media and is the Founder of the Hedge Fund Association (HFA) and Securities Traders Association (STA) LatAm Chapters.

Alberto is best known for his work in the Boston media for over 30 years.
He has been editor-in-chief of El Mundo Newspaper, a ten-year radio host and producer and is currently one of the longest running television Latino personalities in the market with over 25 years of on-air presence. Currently he hosts and produces for Channel 7, WHDH, the former NBC affiliate in Boston.
Born and raised in Boston, his entire life has been dedicated to working in the Latino community of Boston where he has also served as Master of Ceremony, moderator and panelist for the area’s most important events.
He is also known for his work as an official partner of the Boston Red Sox in their efforts in outreaching to the Latino community for the past 25 years.
His father Alberto Vasallo, Jr. was born in Havana, Cuba and his mother, Flor, is a native of Ecuador, South America.
His 19-year-old daughter, Alexandra, is half-Dominican and currently a sophomore at Emerson College.
He is a graduate of Boston College High School and Boston College.
For over 22 years, Mike has developed and implemented marketing and public relations strategies that put capital markets firms in the limelight and helped them become industry leaders in their niche. Prior to partnering with LAS AMERICAS MEDIA, Mike was Head of Marketing for TeraExchange, an independent startup Swaps Execution Facility (SEF) and was also Chief Marketing Officer at Lime Brokerage, a leading technology-focused agency broker specializing in low-latency electronic trading. Mike played an active role in establishing both firms as well-known participants in the global trading markets. Previously, Mike served as SVP, Director of Global Marketing for RealTick, a pioneer in global electronic trading technology and developer of Archipelago ECN (and subsequently a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital). He also held managerial responsibilities for sales, business development, support and training and was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, helping steer company-wide strategy. Mike was a co-founder of Hottrend, an early algorithmic trading technology provider sold to RealTick.
Earlier in his career, Mike led a team on behalf of Barents Group / KPMG Peat Marwick to implement the first Asset-Liability Management program in the Former Eastern Bloc for the Czech Saving Bank. Mike also was a senior consultant for Conoco Phillips in Venezuela and held treasury and municipal bond analyst positions at JP Morgan Chase.
Mike received his MBA from Harvard Business School and BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa.

Manuel joined LAS AMERICAS MEDIA to revamp the concept of Video Marketing. Manuel is a recognized visual explorer. From creative development, direction, production, editorial and complex compositing his ability to execute across a multitude of disciplines is truly unique. After receiving a degree in Advertising, Manuel got his professional start in the media business as a promo copywriter at a local TV channel in his native Venezuela. It was there, in a small editing room, where he would later discover his fascination with the digital world and the art of post-production. Shortly thereafter, editing became his passion. He has worked with various top-level production houses over the years, participating in the creation of TV commercials, Networks, Program Branding, as well as long-form documentaries, drama, reality and live action mystery series. The industry has praised his work with eight Emmy Awards and several PromaxBDA Gold Awards for his directing, editing and graphic arts work. He is also extremely active in the music industry, having participated in more than sixty music videos as producer, director and editor. Also, from 2008 to late 2013 Mr. Velásquez was Regional Manager for INCAE Business in Ecuador, Colombia, Panama and Venezuela. His greatest passion is to teach and make consultancies in marketing, sales and strategy and to help people and companies achieve their goals. For this reason, he was volunteer in Young Entrepreneurs Volunteers Network – JA Nicaragua helping young entrepreneurs to make real their businesses ideas. Mr. Iturbe is in charge of The LAS AMERICAS MEDIA’s Technology Platform based on web services and oriented on Software as a service (SaaS) and before joining LAS AMERICAS MEDIA; Mr. Iturbe was an external consultant for several major Telecom Companies in Venezuela and Miami, where he assisted in Program Management areas as Data, Security and Storage Management. From 2002 to 2012 Mr. Iturbe was VP of Technology at CSR Consulting Services, during his tenure in this position Mr. Iturbe was in charge of several framework validation projects across different ever-expanding databases, he was interested in expert systems to mimic unique data analysis using latest technologies to match patterns that delivered compelling results. Since 2004 Mr. Iturbe has been affiliated with The Project Management Institute Venezuelan Chapter. Earlier in his career he was Program Manager at Motorola in Venezuela and Telecommunication Manager at World Tel-Fax Electronic. Mr. Iturbe earned his degree in Electrical Engineering bias Telecommunications in 1994 from Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET) in Venezuela and other specializations in the same area. Mr Lares Quintero is the Head Graphic Design at our Latin Division and is a well-known Latin graphic designer who specializes also in brand identity system development. He has extensive experience in graphic design across The Latin American Region, working closely with major and important clients in different verticals. His focus has been on concept ideation, logo development, typography, color palette, graphic language, photo style and video edition. Leonard design using a wide range of applications such as Photoshop, Ilustrator, 3ds max, Drawing, Design Graphic, Lettering and Creative Development. He worked at served as Art Director and partner at Zinaphia Creative and was the lead graphic designer/account manager at Aerolinea Creativa MX and Megainbound. Mr Lares Quintero received her BA in Graphic Design from the “Design Institute” in Caracas, Venezuela.
Sarah is an accomplished and versatile graphic designer who specializes in brand identity system development. Sarah has extensive experience in graphic design for financial firms, and has served as lead designer on projects for many of the world’s most exclusive, blue-chip brands across a wide array of verticals. Her focus has been on identity system development, concept ideation, logo development, typography, color palette, graphic language, and photo style.
